"A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial to Determine the Efficacy and Safety of a Novel Formulation Comprised of Botanically Derived Inhibitors of 5AR in the Treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia".
( Prager N, Bickett K, French N, Marcovici G )
Results: "The results of this pilot study showed a highly positive response to treatment. The blinded investigative staff assessment report showed that 60% of study subjects dosed with the active study formulation were rated as improved at the final visit." |

Independently Conducted Research
This independently conducted HairGenesis™ research study represents the first successful report of a naturally derived hair loss treatment formulation against androgenetic alopecia (common pattern hair loss). This clinical trial heralds a major paradigm shift in the standard clinical approaches in treating pattern hair loss, since it introduces HairGenesis™ as a safe and efficacious alternative to the pharmaceutically derived drugs Rogaine™ and Propecia™.
The research manuscript outlining this clinical trial was published within the April 2002 edition of the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine. HairGenesis™ is based upon a formula using individual botanical substances that have been shown to inhibit androgen-mediated hormonal processes linked to pattern hair loss. In developing the oral and topical isomers of this formula, a potent composition has been developed which is, from a number of perspectives, unique. Additional research supports the safety and utility of HairGenesis.
